DESCRIPTION:Everyone’s needs are different when diagnosed with a serious eye condition or are told that they are losing their sight, we appreciate that there may be decisions to make and the unknown can be a difficult place to face. Our new to sight loss sessions can help support you by providing resources, information, practical and emotional support to help direct you to what you need. The sessions are attended by a highly qualified and experienced team, consisting of our ECLO (Eye Clinic Liaison Officer), Vision Support Advisors, North Yorkshire Sensory Team and Harrogate Hospital Low Vision Clinic staff. These are group sessions and you are welcome to bring a family member or friend along with you.\nBy coming along to a session we hope that you will feel informed, know who and where to turn to for a particular service for now or in the future and know that Vision Support Harrogate District will provide ongoing support for you.\nBook your place by contacting Helen at eclo@vshd.org.uk or calling 01423 565915.\n
