No Horizon the Musical
Discover the astonishing forgotten story of one of our nation’s most inspiring blind icons.
No Horizon is a fascinating new musical, inspired by the astonishing true story of Nicholas Saunderson. As part of an awareness-raising tour, the show’s writer, its visually impaired lead actor (Adam Martyn) and designer visited Vision Support, Harrogate on January 31st at 2:00 p.m. they shared this most remarkable story. The presentation included powerful, emotive songs from the show, insights from the designer about how the visually impaired experience has been at the forefront of her thinking and input from Adam about his experience as an actor with restricted sight.
No Horizon is uplifting, inspiring and truly astounding. Now cruelly forgotten by history, Saunderson sought to make the impossible possible. It is 1682. No eyes. No braille. No hope.
Featuring emotive and stunning music, this epic story seeks to re-establish Saunderson in his rightful place as a national icon.
