Vision Support Harrogate District offers a range of services to people experiencing sight loss in Pateley Bridge and its surrounding villages, including our home visiting services, telephone befriending, monthly Vision Support Group Meetings and Vision Support Advisor Sessions. If you can use public transport all our daytime activities at The Vision Support Centre, are also available for you to join.

Pateley Bridge Vision Support Group

Meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month 1pm – 2.30pm at NiddPlus, Station Square, Pateley Bridge.
Run by our Vision Support Advisor Sue Richards, Pateley Bridge Vision Support Group is an established group that has been offering Vision Support Services and friendship to sight impaired residents since our charity began, in the 1920’s. A very friendly and active group, organising coffee mornings, shopping and day trips and topics for discussion at group meetings all done over a nice cuppa.
New members are always welcome, it is a fantastic opportunity to gather together to talk about how you are managing with your sight loss, to share helpful tips and tricks and to get some professional and friendly advice and support.
