Whisky tasting & meal

We are delighted to invite you to our annual Whisky Tasting & 3 course meal Evening here at Vision Support Harrogate District. We have 24 spaces available so please get in touch if you would like a ticket or two!

Les, our host from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, is very entertaining and informative and will be bringing along with him five single malt whiskies to taste. Les expertly chooses an interesting range so it will be a tasty evening.

Importantly, amongst these whiskies will be a selection from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society cellars.  Commercial “single malts” are still blended to get consistency year on year; however, these whiskies are unique.  They are produced by established distilleries to assist with the blending process for the commercial brands and bought by the Society.  When ready, they are bottled and are only from that single barrel, so take on the character of the barrel & will never be tasted again once that barrel is empty; they are very special.

The labels on the bottles are described in an entertaining way, such as, “Heaven in a heartless world.” and “An explosion in a chocolate factory!”
