Advice sessions are run by Vision Support Advisors Tanya and Vanessa with the Entertainment and Friendship group run by Trustee, John Mellor and a small team of wonderful volunteers.

Entertainment

Ripon Vision Support Group is an established group that has been offering friendship and entertainments to sight impaired Ripon residents for many decades. A very friendly group offering a range of entertainments including singing, informative speakers, musicians and visits from community members.

Support

If it is information and advice you are seeking, Vision Support Advisors will be available to answer queries and offer support to you regarding your sight loss. They can liaise with other members of the Vision Support Team, and statutory organisations such as the NHS Eye Department and NYCC Sensory Team to ensure you are getting all the help and support you need. There will also be a display of useful aids and resources for you to learn more about.
